Alec visited Garforth’s new multi-million pound residential home for the elderly last week, praising staff for their commitment to delivering high-quality residential care in the town.
Last week Alec travelled to Washington DC for his first meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), following his appointment as a UK representative by the Prime Minister David Cameron in December.
Alec has pledged to support the charity, Together for Short Lives, supporting calls for children with life-limiting conditions – and their families – to have access to a range of children’s palliative care services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, when and where they need it.
Alec is set to join the parliamentary assembly of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), following an appointment made by the Prime Minister David Cameron.
