City Councillor for Harewood
Member of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority
Matthew has been a Councillor for the Harewood ward since 2010 (he was re-elected in 2014 and 2018), he is also a Member of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and was the Conservative Party candidate for West Yorkshire Mayor in 2021. Matthew is keen to see safer communities through working with the Police, improve broadband access for residents, help protect our local environment and improve road safety throughout our villages and communities.
Matthew lives in the Harewood ward and is currently a Governor at Bardsey Primary School, having previously been a Governor at Shadwell and Bramham Primaries. He is also a member of East Keswick Wildlife Trust.
