A number of residents have contacted Alec to ask about the supply of Lateral Flow Devices (LFDs).
Alec said: "The Government is doubling the total delivery capacity with Royal Mail to 900,000 test packs and PCR tests a day; tripling the supply of LFDs in January and February from the pre-Omicron plan of 100 million to 300 million per month.".
Over the Christmas period, with Christmas Day, Boxing Day and two consecutive Bank Holidays, Royal Mail delivery may have been reduced for household deliveries, but further orders have been placed to increase the manufacture and delivery of LFDs over the next few weeks.
