Peter has led a full and varied career, recently retiring as a senior partner with a large Leeds law firm. He undertakes many roles including Chairman of the Board of Governors at Leeds Grammar School and Deputy Chairman of Opera North. Peter is also an Honorary Alderman of the City of Leeds following his nineteen years as a Councillor, during which time he also served as the Leader of Leeds City Council. Recently, Peter has also served two successful terms as Chairman of the local Conservative Association.
